Submit Records are proud to present the forthcoming debut single from live Hip Hop outfit The 3rd Estate, the rich, emotive and uplifting "Heart Is Beating".

The brainchild of Submit founder Daniel '3Digits' Berry (whose playing credits include the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club, Slugabed & Mr Jukes), The 3rd Estate is a collaborative project bringing together incredible musicians and MCs, and providing a space for free artistic expression, capturing the essence of improvised music and the magic of great people feeding off each other's creative energy.

"Heart is Beating" is the title track of their forthcoming EP, the track features the vocal talents of the legendary Ty. Throughout his career, Ty was an undeniable example of maintaining artistic integrity and never compromising one's work, a sentiment that is perfectly embodied here. The EP serves as a musical experiment to take the craft of MCing, marrying it with a Jazz approach to musical creation. Recorded straight to tape with no click track, the parts were arranged in such a way so as to ensure that all musicians had a chance to edit, develop and improvise their playing throughout the record.

The single is dedicated to the memory of Ty who sadly passed away last year. A hugely inspirational figure in UK music who will be missed by many.
